Ok so i got an R4 card for christmas and only just got a mirco sd card for it (2GB) and i downloaded the newest english kernal but it didnt download as a zipped file and when i put it into my ds it just says couldent find DSMENU.DAT oh and i didnt get a Cd with the R4 card. To install this new build simply unzip the file bundle, copy DSMENU.DAT andDSMSHL.NDS, and let them overwrite whatever previous R4DS version you had loaded. Download: Click Download and in a few moments you will receive the download dialog. Download Kernel V1.14 and decompress it on computer, copy and paste rpg and DSMENU.DAT into the root directory of Kingston 2G Memory card; Copy and Paste Game ROMs into root directory of Memory card including 5221 - rabbids go home (usa).nds, 5225 - Imagine Dream Resort (EU).nds, 5232 - Blue Dragon Awakened Sh.nds. dsmenu.dat をダウンロードする準備ができました。 ダウンロードするファイルをお確かめください。.
*Update the firmware of the R4i SDHC RTS card, to support running in new 3DS consoles (Ver. 1.1.0-1E, Ver. 1.1.0-1J, Ver. 1.1.0-1U)
*Support DSi Ver 1.4.2E, Ver 1.4.2J, Ver 1.4.2U, Ver 1.4.3C

*This updated software package supports updating “R4i SDHC RTS” cards only. (It does not support updating R4i RTS, R4i SDHC, R4 SDHC, R4 SDHC and R4 etc…)
*In order to update the firmware of the R4i SDHC RTS card, you must have the NDS, NDS Lite or NDSi, NDSi XL(LL) console. The updated software can run up in one of these consoles, then the updated R4i SDHC RTS card should be able to boot up properly in any NDS console included 3DS.
*Please make sure that the power of the console is sufficient and prevent moving the console during the updated process.
Procedures:
1. Copy all 3 updated files “_ds_menu.sys”, “_DS_MENU.dat”, “EON_WRITE.dat” onto the root directory of the microSD card.
2. Insert that microSD card into the R4i SDHC RTS card.
3. Insert that R4i SDHC RTS card into NDS, NDS Lite or NDSi NDSi XL(LL) console, the updated software will automatically run up.
4. “Press [A] to continue[EON]…” message will be displayed on the bottom of the screen. Press [A] to start the updated process.
5. “EON_WRITE.DAT = 0 x 200000” message will be displaed on the screen, it means the updated process has been started, it needs to take several minutes. The updated process will be finished successfully until the following words are shown.

6. After the updated process is finished, you may take out the R4i SDHC RTS card. Delete or remove all 3 files “_ds_menu.sys”, “_DS_MENU.dat”, “EON_WRITE.dat” from the microSD card. Copy the normal “_DS_MENU.DAT”, “_ds_menu.sys” system files onto the root directory of the microSD card. (For the detail of installing the normal R4i SDHC RTS software, please read the corresponding instruction.)
Trouble shooting:
1. The updated software does not run up properly or the “Press [A] to continue[EON]…” message does not be displayed.
Ans:
i. Please make sure the firmware files have been discompressed properly.
ii. Make sure that the updated files “_ds_menu.sys”, “_DS_MENU.dat”, “EON_WRITE.dat” are properly copied onto the root directory of the microSD card.
iii. Make sure the format of the microSD is in (FAT or FAT32)
iV. Make sure the microSD card is inserted properly.
2. Even the R4i SDHC RTS card has been updated, it still can not run up properly in 3ds console.
Ans:
Bad contect of the slot: Clean the golden finger of the R4i SDHC RTS card then try again.

R4 Setup
For any system version above, you need only install kernel to play your DS games.
1, R4 Dual Core Kernel Installation
Download latest corresponding revised wood ysmenu kernel to your computer, decompress and extract this rar file with tool WinRar, find and get __rpg folder and _DS_MENU.dat as shown below. Copy and paste these 2 items into the root directory of your memory card. Now, you can plug and play the saved DS games. (Note: Do not decompress into your sd memory card directly, it may get a white screen when booting the r4 card)
2, Firmware Upgrade
R4 SDHC Dual Core shipped after the year 2013 does not need firmware upgrade, wrong patch may damage your r4 card.
R4 Revolution _ds_menu.dat Download

Moonshell 2.10 can be installed for dpg movies, mp3 music and reading txt files. Download r4 moonshell from filetrip.net, recommend original Kingston/SanDisk micro sdhc memory card.
